Arms Race
A downloadable game
As the leaders of the world’s two political superpowers, you find yourselves locked in a Cold War-style standoff, amassing nuclear arsenals with the concept of Mutually Assured Destruction. Build up a large nuclear stockpile, plan out where to place your buildings to block your opponent, or simply take all means of producing a resource!
Players in this game will find themselves racing to build a nuclear arsenal faster than their opponent. Each turn, players get resources and funding, which they can use to buy Paths and build Plants that will generate resources for them. Some Plants will require Risk to gain their benefits. Use your resources to build your Nuclear Devices. Try to keep up production to outproduce your opponent, while keeping your Risks low.
As you gain more Plants, you get more Funding! Once you’ve grown your infrastructure of Paths and Plants, purchase and utilize a variety of Positive Card Effects to get advantages and protect yourself from Negative Card Effects. Be careful though, if the Negative Cards run out, the game will end! Be cautious of the Risk, or take advantage of it to end the game early.
